THEFT INSURANCE CLAIM PROCESS

Insurance is complementary with syska secure pack.

Step 1:
Call toll-free Customer Care / Leehan Claims Team and report damage within 48 hours.

Step 2:
A ‘Claim Identity Number’ (CIN) will be given to the Claimant.

Step 3:
Claimant has to intimate the Police Station about the theft and get a first information report (FIR) copy duly stamped and signed. This is to be procured within 48 hours of the incident.

Step 4:
Claimant has to block SIM card with his telecom operator and get a SIM Blocking Letter duly stamped and signed. SIM Blocking Letter to be procured within 48 hours of the incident.

Step 5:
The following documents have to be couriered to Leehan Retails Pvt Ltd.
•  Covering Letter
•  Original bill on Claimant's name
•  Self attested photo ID proof of Claimant
•  Duly stamped and signed; SIM blocking letter or email copy from Service Provider duly stamped and signed.
•  Insurance Claim Form.
• FIR (First Information Report from Incident Pincode Related Police Station only, to be produced within 48hrs of the incident).
• Subrogation Letter
• Cancelled Cheque
• Medical Certificate (Only from MBBS or Relevant Specialist Doctor):
 · Required for all accident cases.
 · Required for all Beaten up or Hit & Run cases
Note:If the customer purchases any of the covered brand of phones online,we will require his product delivery invoice/email later during the documentation process of his claim.

NOTE:
All settlements will be cashless.
• Partial loss

Incase of Partial Loss Claim, Customer need to pay as per below listing.

In case of total loss or theft, depreciation value will be deducted from the total eligible value of the handset, remaining amount will be transferred to customer’s account.

Depreciation applied to coupons registered on or after 17 July 2015 - Other devices
Partial Loss - Other devices
Within 6 month of registration: 0% depreciation of eligible value
After 6 month of registration: 0% depreciation of eligible value
Total Loss - Other devices
Within 6 month of registration: 25% depreciation of Invoice value
After 6 month of registration: 50% depreciation of Invoice value
Theft - Other devices
Within 6 month of registration: 25% depreciation of Invoice value
After 6 month of registration: 50% depreciation of Invoice value

 Apple depreciation (Decided by the service center whether to repair/replace/refund):

Depreciation applied to coupons registered on or after 17 July 2015 - Apple products
Partial Loss - Apple Products
Within 6 month of registration: 0% depreciation of eligible value
After 6 month of registration: 0% depreciation of eligible value
Replacement - Apple products
Within 6 month of registration: 25% of Estimation value to be paid by the customer
After 6 month of registration: 50% of Estimation value to be paid by the customer
Refund - Apple products
Within 6 month of registration: 25% depreciation of Invoice value
After 6 month of registration: 50% depreciation of Invoice value

Depreciation slab can change as per discretion of insurance company subject to prior intimation to customer, details of same will be updated on application and website.

Any kind of damage due to negligence or intentional damage, the claims for the same will be rejected. Incase of total loss and theft customer needs to handover accessories and box.
In case of theft the following will not be covered:
1. Pick Pocket
2. Negligence (For E.G: Use in Beaches/Forgot in auto Ricshaw)
3. Not a forceful act.
4. Intentional Act(for E.G: Thrown out in anger )
5. Can not recollect
